YN SIMULATOR

I'm a young solo developer with zero background in coding or game dev. I vibe-coded this game from scratch because I wanted to play something that didn’t exist — something real to me.

YN SIMULATOR is a parody of reality. Some of the themes might seem rough or controversial, but this isn't about glorifying anything. It’s a reflection — told through a retro, top-down RPG lens. 

💡 This is a playtest version. Most of the game is still a work in progress.

I'm just looking for honest feedback, ideas, and maybe even help if you're down. Whether it’s design, writing, coding, or just playing and telling me what works and what doesn’t — I’m open to all of it.

🎮 Gameplay Overview

💊 Buy & Sell Product
Start from the bottom and work your way up — re-up your stash, find buyers, and stack cash. The more you sell, the more your rep (aka AURA) grows.

📡 Unlock Connections (WIP)
Level up your AURA to unlock new plugs with better product — from small street deals to high-level drops. Each tier gets you closer to empire status.

📈 Grow Your AURA (Rep)
AURA is your social currency. Unlock Dealer Tiers (Level 1–4) and Girlfriends by hitting rep milestones. It’s not just about money — it’s about who knows your name.

🚓 Watch the Law
Every move matters. Pull out a strap in public? Sell in the wrong hood? You’ll catch a wanted level — and the cops won’t stop until you’re caught or gone.

💘 Date to Dominate
Each girlfriend gives a passive EXP (AURA) buff. A Level 3 girl triples your gains. But they don't come easy — you’ll need both money and reputation to pull them.

🕹️ How to Play

🧍‍♂️ Movement
Use WASD to move around the city.

💬 Interacting with NPCs
Press E near NPCs to talk, buy, or sell.
NPCs with yellow notifications are buyers.

💊 Selling Product
Approach a buyer and interact. Sales give you cash and AURA (your rep). The higher your AURA, the better your unlocks.

🔁 Re-Up
Dealers usually wear red. Interact to restock your supply.

🔫 Combat System
Point and click to shoot. Right now, shooting in public will trigger the police — and the wanted level system kicks in fast.

🚓 Police System
Illegal actions (like random shooting) raise your wanted level, causing police to spawn and chase you. The higher the level, the worse the heat.

📈 Progression
Everything is tied to your AURA stat (EXP system):

• 💼 Dealers (LvL 1–4): Sell you better product

• 🧍‍♂️ Customers (LvL 1–4): Pay more or buy more

• 💘 Girlfriends (LvL 1–4): Give bigger AURA buffs but require more money & rep to unlock

💘 Dating System
Bring a girlfriend with you for passive EXP boosts.
Higher-level girlfriends = more AURA per sale
…but they require high AURA + money to even talk to you.

💸 Money Sinks
WIP (but planned: weapons, cars, clothes, properties…)

• 🏠 Property System — Buy or rent homes, rental spots, and eventually flex with the endgame mansion

• 🛒 More Stores — Gun shop, clothing store, and a car dealership to gear up and drip out

• 🔫 Weapon Variety — More gun types and a full combat overhaul for deeper action

• 💼 Dealer System — Hire NPC dealers, add new drug types, and build your crew

• 🗺️ Map Expansion — Explore new zones: Downtown, the Suburbs, Trailer Park, and the Docks

• 🧍‍♂️ Character Customization — If I can figure it out... I swear I'm trying 😭
